5 months late

I wanted to start a new blog when we moved to Florida, but it is 5 months later and I am just starting.  Better late than never I guess.  Where to start? We down sized the place we live in, so we are a little cramped, but at least the kids all have their own room.  Anthony works from home.  Anthony is actually in the same state and us.  We started homeschooling.  Lots of new things for us.  I am hoping this move will give us a chance to reconnect as a family.

I got in a wreck my 3rd day here.  No fun squeezing 3 kids into a regular size car.  Anthony was stung by a stingray which took quiet a while to heal, since it became infected and had to be cut back open to remove the rest of the barb.  So we got off to a rough start.

But it is getting better everyday.  I got us involved in a homeschool group quickly.  I am a social person and have to be around people.  And we have to get out of the apartment as much as we can. I met a wonderful mom in our hs group and our kids get along great.  I am learning so much from her.  I still miss my friends from Alabama a lot.  I miss getting together for coffee and donuts.  Seeing friends at church.  It is hard to stay in touch with people that you just "did life with".  And trying to talk on the phone when you have kids is close to impossible.

We are enjoying the sunny skies here in FL.  It is a joke everytime we leave the apartment, Dominic say's "Look it's a sunny day" and I always say "yes, it is always sunny in FL".  So that is how the name of this blog came about.
